OFA remedial path for Global Law and Transnational Legal Studies

CLA-UniTO, at the request of the Department of Law and the Internationalisation Area of the University, organises the OFA (Additional Formative Obligations) remedial course for students enrolled in the first year of the Global Law and Transnational Legal Studies programme who have not scored at least 5 points (out of 10) in the reading comprehension section of the CISIA English TOLC-E.

The students concerned will be required to take an initial placement test, on the basis of which they will be allocated to the most appropriate remediation course in relation to their initial level of English.

Subsequently, in order to fulfil the OFA, they must pass the final exam to demonstrate that they have reached the minimum entry requirement for the course, i.e. level B2 of the CEFR.

Please note: CLA-UniTO contacts the students listed by the course's administrative offices for the purpose of OFA remediation. It is not the Centre's prerogative to evaluate alternative ways of acquitting the debt, such as the possession of certificates issued by external bodies. For such questions, we recommend that you consult the course regulations and/or contact the competent offices.
