SUMMER SCHOOL ITALIAN L2

OVERVIEW

Twice a year (in July and in September), the association Comitato Torino Università Estate (TUE) organizes and realizes Italian language and culture summerschools in collaboration with the University Language Centre (CLA-UniTO). The courses are held in small groups (12-15 learners) and are open to everyone. Once enrolled, participants are tested and then grouped according to their level of language ability.

The courses include two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. In the morning, learners attend language classes with qualified teachers who, according to the learners' needs cover every aspect of the Italian language. In the afternoon, learners can either participate in guided tours to discover the history, culture, art, and nature characterising Turin and around or carry on language training through learning activities in the labs of CLA-UniTO.

Classes are fully taught in Italian by native-speaking teachers, highly qualified and specialised in teaching Italian as a foreign language. Classes will take place in the main location of CLA-UNITO of the University of Turin, located in Via Sant’Ottavio, 20 - 10124 Torino, from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. In the afternoon, the labs of CLA will remain open for self-study activities.
